1950s Falster Teak and Oak Credenza. SOLD

This credenza is - SOLD

This is an original mid century Danish teak credenza, designed by Torben Strandgaard for Møbelfabrik Falster. This is a very early version, probably produced in the early to mid 1950s. It is finished on all sides so this could be used to divide a room.

Really nice teak cabinet with solid dark oak base. All real wood construction (teak veneer over ply), no particle board anywhere. Nice "race track" shaped pulls, similar to Arne Vodder. Two adjustable shelves on the left side and one adjustable shelf on the right. It is branded on the bottom.

Very very good condition for such an early piece. Has been previously restored with a nice oil finish. The cabinet is overall in excellent condition, but does have a few very small flaws including a few small spots that have been filled and a short scratch. None of these are very noticeable or take much away from this well-sized sideboard.

It measures 54" Wide x 18" Deep x 32.5" Tall.
