Here is a really interesting rosewood coffee table designed by Poul Cadovius. The table features a parquet-patterned chess or checkerboard surface in beautifully grained rosewood, and rests on sleigh style legs.
 
Produced by Cado in Denmark, circa the 1960s or 70s. This is a heavy and sturdy coffee table in attractive rosewood veneer. Thick top and legs. The original maker’s medallion is present on the bottom.
 
The table measures 31.5” Wide x 31.5” Deep x 19.5” Tall.
 
It is in beautiful condition overall and shows very well. It was recently refinished, but does have a few repairs worth noting. The top’s edge banding looks to have been repaired on two sides, and there is a sliver on one of the top’s edges that has also been repaired (please see detailed pictures of these areas). These spots are not too distracting at all, and otherwise the table is in excellent condition.
