Here is a vintage Danish footstool in rosewood and black leather made by Hugo Frandsen in Spøttrop Denmark (also referred to as Spottrup Mobelfabrik, or Spottrup Mobler). Likely from the 1960s. This foot stool or ottoman has great patina, with worn original leather. Nice original finish on the rosewood frame. All the joints are tight and the pad has plenty of cushion. The maker’s branding is present on the bottom, along with the DFMC (Danish Furniture Makers Control) medallion.
This footstool measures approximately 21” Wide x 15” Deep x 14.5” Tall.
