This is the iconic “Pernilla” lounge chair with ottoman in leather by Bruno Mathsson for Dux. I recently imported this set from Sweden.
 
This one features a very unique "clay" or "terracotta" colored leather with nice patina. The soft leather is in great condition and does not show much wear at all, but the leather’s top color coat has been worn off on the areas with most use giving this chair a really interesting and charming appearance.
 
The bentwood frame is in excellent condition. Nice and tight. Only typical slight wear on the finish at the ends of the arms, but really this is one of the nicer original Pernilla frames I have had to date. The canvas is nice overall. On the ottoman a new strip of original canvas was replaced to repair a worn area.
 
The headrest has brand new leather straps from Sweden by Mathsson International.
 
Both the chair and ottoman have the DUX branding with the Bruno Mathsson signature.
 
The chair measures 35” Wide x 36” Deep x 37.5” Tall. The seat height is about 16”.
The ottoman measures 27” Long x 24.5” Wide x 16.5” Tall.
