This is a large and high-quality teak tambour door credenza or highboard by Ib Kofod-Larsen for Faarup Møbelfabrik, circa 1960s.
The upper portion of this credenza has full tambour doors across the top that open to reveal several adjustable shelves and four pull-out drawers or trays. These trays are made of solid dark teak wood with nice joinery, and all have green felt liners. The lower section has tambour doors on either side, each with a single adjustable shelf inside, and three large drawers in the center.
Sculpted solid teak pulls. Solid teak tapered legs. This credenza is in excellent condition. Very nice teak grain. It does have a few very minor, small flaws including one small bump on the right-side rear edge, a few small scratches on the left-side rear lower edge (please see pics of these very minor flaws), and only small signs of normal age and wear. All of the tambour doors slide smoothly and all drawers open and close easily. Overall this is in very very good condition.
This credenza measures 74.75" Wide x 19.75" Deep x 46.25" tall. The upper portion is 12" Deep.
This credenza is stamped "Made in Denmark" and "Faarup Møbelfabrik" on the rear, and is branded with the Danish Furniture Makers Control stamp in the upper drawer.
