This is a long and low rosewood credenza by Johannes Andersen for J. Skaaning & Son. Made in Denmark, circa 1960s. This is a very well-made piece with high-quality construction, and is very heavy. It has many nice features, it is in excellent condition, and the rosewood grain is beautiful.
This is a long one, measuring just under 94.5” in length. Behind the two left-side doors is a double-wide storage area with two adjustable shelves. The right side has one space with an adjustable shelf, and another space with two felt-lined drawers. In the center are four large pull-out drawers. The upper drawer has the original green felt liner, and a felt-lined shelf that slides back and forth for extra storage. The shelf is completely finished and can be used separately as a serving tray. The interior, shelves, and drawers are in oak, which contrasts beautifully against the rosewood.
This sideboard measures 94-3/8” Long x 19.25” Deep x 32.5” Tall.
This one was recently refinished and is in excellent condition. There are no scratches or rings on the top, and all the drawers are clean. There is no missing veneer, or any significant repairs that I am aware of. All drawers and doors slide smoothly. This is a vintage piece which will of course show some minor signs of age and use, but overall it is in very very good condition. The Danish Furniture Makers Control decal is present on the back.
Free shipping in the Continental U.S. is included in this price. If you are local or would like to arrange your own transport, please contact me for a discounted price.
