Here is a Danish easy chair in beautifully worn leather and oak. Model 4521, designed by John Mortensen for Magnus Olesen. This model was produced 1971-73 only. It sits low and wide, and is as comfortable as it is attractive. The frame and legs are solid oak. The puffy leather cushions attach with snaps, and are supported by leather straps with buckles.

If you are looking for a new chair without flaws, this is not the right one for you. This lounge chair is in excellent vintage condition with lots of wear and patina. The cushions are soft and very comfortable with great padding. New rubber straps have been installed under the seat. The frame is nice and tight. The leather has been cleaned and conditioned and is free from any cracks, tears, splits, etc. The leather does have marks, scratches, fading, dry spots, and normal wear throughout, and the leather straps are worn and have cracking (please see pictures for condition). Overall, this chair has a great look, great stance, is very comfortable, and has just the right amount of patina.

It measures approximately 36” Wide x 32.5” Deep x 33” Tall. The seat height is about 16”-16.5”.

The Magnus Olesen label is present.
