Here is a pair of rosewood "Diplomat" model chairs in rosewood by Finn Juhl. Originally designed in 1963, this pair by Cado is from the late 1960s. They are refinished in light blue wool Hallingdal fabric by Kvadrat and are very comfortable.
 
The rosewood frames are in excellent condition with only very very minor flaws or marks. Perfectly sturdy and tight with no repairs. They feature nice detail in the front and sides, and have beautifully sculpted arms. Both chairs have the original maker's branding present on the bottom.
 
Each chair measures 27" Wide x 24" Deep x 32.5" Tall. The seat height is 17.5". The height at the top of the arms is 23.75"
 
Overall these are an excellent and comfortable pair of armchairs in new Halligdal upholstery and refinished rosewood frames.
