Here is a very uncommon vintage Danish freestanding dry bar by Poul Nørreklit for Georg Pedersens Møbelfabrik, circa 1970s. This modern design features rosewood cabinets trimmed in aluminum, that float in Lucite or acrylic side panels.
 
The rosewood grain is beautiful throughout. For the server, the upper portion features storage compartments in the center. There is a pullout drawer on the left side, on the right there is a slide-out laminate working surface, and a second slide-out laminate surface with a hole for a trash or ice bucket, all with aluminum fronts. Below that is row of bottle storage for easy access. The lower portion has lots of storage behind the sliding doors with aluminum fronts. Each side has a removable shelf inside.
 
The patron’s side of the bar features an aluminum panel across the top, and a beautiful rosewood panel below.
 
The cabinets are supported by thick plexiglass panels with aluminum feet that have adjustable glides at the bottom.
 
This bar measures approximately 59.5” Wide x 45.25” Tall. The upper portion is about 18.75” Deep, and the lower is about 14.25” Deep.
 
This piece is in very good vintage condition. The rosewood has great color and grain, and the finish is excellent. There is normal wear from age and use throughout. There is one old, small wood repair at the very top edge (see detail pic), but this not very noticeable or distracting. The acrylic panels have crazing, but no structural issues (see pics). The aluminum panels have minor nicks or dings, and some normal discoloration and marks present in the metal or the metal finish. The doors have some rub marks from touching slightly when sliding open and closed. The doors and drawers open and close smoothly. The inside of the drawer and the interior shelves have some marks, rings, stains from normal use. The piece is very clean and displays beautifully. It has some normal wear, but overall is in very very good vintage condition.
