Here is the “TeVe” model easy chair in genuine shearling sheepskin upholstery. Designed by Alf Svensson. This model was introduced in 1953 as part of the “Studio” collection. This is a vintage lounge chair, produced in Sweden by Dux, Ljung Industrier, probably circa 1950s.
 
This chair was designed as an accent chair that could be moved around and used in any space. It is very lightweight, with a wide seat and a low overall height. The frame is constructed of stained beech wood. This chair has just been reupholstered in genuine shearling sheepskin and is very comfortable.
 
This chair is in good vintage condition. The frame has the original finish, which shows well. There are some marks and normal wear from age and use. The upholstery is new, and the “cushiness” and support is excellent. It is very comfortable. The brass supports have appropriate patina. One leg has been reglued where it attaches to the base (see pic), but this is not visible unless the chair is flipped over. All the legs are tight. The chair has the original Dux Badge, and is stamped “Made in Sweden”.
 
It measures approximately 24.75” Wide x 24” Deep x 27.75” Tall. The seat height is about 16”.
