Here is a unique vintage Danish teak desk with a curved top, a bar cabinet, and contrasting oak legs. This is an old one, probably produced circa mid-late 1950s. I have seen this model attributed to Svend Madsen and also Peter Løvig-Nielsen, but I can not say for sure who the true designer of this piece is.
 
The teak top is really fun, with a curved shape and raised edges. The legs are oak, which creates a nice contrast against the teak cabinets. Three drawers with book matched grain on each side. On the back of the desk there are two cabinet spaces with drop-down doors, and a floating shelf in between. One of these is a bar cabinet, with an etched mirror back panel, and two black glass shelves. The other cabinet has two pull out trays with original dividers.
 
This desk has been refinished and is in very good condition. There is some normal wear and signs of age and use present of course. The top is very nice, with no stains, rings, scratches, etc. The construction suggestions that this is an older piece, likely produced in the 1950s. This means that some of the refinements that came with later 1960s mass-production are lacking (this desk has simple, wood-on-top-of-wood drawer glides for example), but this also gives this desk true vintage charm. Two of the drawers have some stains on the inside bottom (see pictures), but the rest are very nice inside. The two small trays also have some normal wear. There are no other significant condition issues to note, and this desk does show very well.
 
The overall dimensions are 54.75” Wide x 29” Deep x 29” Tall, taking the curvature of the top into account. The top is 28.5” Deep at the center. The rear edge of the top is 54.75” Wide, the front edge is 51.5” Wide (the center is roughly 53.75” Wide). The kneehole is 21” Wide at the front opening (gets wider from there) x 28-1/8” Tall x 17” Deep.
