This is a modular 3-bay wall unit in teak, made in Denmark by FM Møbler and originally designed by Kai Kristiansen in the late 1950's. This unit is vintage and probably dates from the mid-1960s. The sculpted circular pulls, slightly angled shelf fronts, and the smooth/curved sides on the bottom of the shelves are beautiful in detail, and are signature Kai Kristiansen.
This wall unit comes with:
-4X metal support rails (71" tall)
-3X cabinet with sliding doors (each is 33.75"W x 12.5"D x 19.75"T)
-One deep shelf, could be used as a desk or work space (12.5" deep)
-3X medium depth shelves (9.5" deep)
-4X shallow depth shelves (7" deep)
All three cabinets have adjustable shelves inside, and two have thin drawers that can be removed and used as trays.
This unit is in very good condition. The shelves and cabinets have nice grain. One cabinet does have two "owner installed" holes in the back panel to pass cords through (mid-way up, not very visible and easy to hide), the other cabinets are untouched. One shelf has a little chip in one front corner. Several original FM Mobler decals are present on the backs of cabinets and shelves.
As pictured the unit is 102" Wide x 13" Deep.
